  "The Industrial Design Course is directed towards the theoretical, scientific and professional training of the designer, in other words that particular professional figure possessing knowledge and skills relating to the design, production and enhancement of industrial products. The term industrial product, as interpreted by the Faculty of Design, does not simply refer to a material product such an automobile, a piece of furniture, an object, an article of clothing, or an accessory, but also those elements of communication and construction constituting the "sense" of a product, in areas such as graphic design and brand design, and also web sites or a fashion parade.
  This field of study responds to the demand for training expressed by the consumer product industry, by public administrations, by firms and companies working in communication design, interior decorating, furnishing and fashion, as well as by the marketing and distribution sectors for these products.
